As reported in the Tenessean this past Sunday:
In front of the landfill yesterday, about 15 residents prayed and urged other Dickson County residents to join them in calling for more public hearings on the contamination, consideration of other ways to improve the county’s water system, and prosecution of environmental crimes.They also presented a resolution to officials to look into the additional issue of gas contamination and alternative ways to make use of the solid waste from the landfill including to generate profits.
